Who: Volunteers for the 2008 National Convention (before or during the convention)
What: Introduction to Convention plans, and an Orientation for Volunteers
When: Wednesday May 21st, 7:00pm
Where: Casa Aztlan, 1831 S. Racine, Chicago

The ILGP is hosting the 2008 National Convention here in Chicago, and we need as many volunteers as possible to help us prepare for the convention, and to support the hundreds of Greens who will be visiting from all around the globe July 10th-13th.

We are looking for volunteers to help with:

• Community Outreach and local media help
• General help from staffing tables to assisting with signage
• Audio-Visual Technical Support
• Computer Technical Support
• Providing A/V equipment
• Bi-lingual folks to buddy with International guests
• Visitor Guides
• Hosting visiting Greens in your home
• General errand running
• Transportation of people and things

We also need to identify ILGP members and others who are willing to host visiting Greens in their own homes.

Casa Aztlan is accesible via public transportation.

• Train - Take the Pink Line to the 18th St. stop, and walk east on 18th to Racine.
• Bus - The 60 goes from downtown to within a block or two of Casa Aztlan.

We will provide pizza and soft drinks.
